Sandy Alexander Invests in manroland DirectDrive Sheetfed Press

With Sandy Alexander’s sheetfed operation running at nearly full capacity, it explored ways to increase capacity, enhance quality and increase productivity. The two systems are highly integrated to accurately measure color on a printed piece, process the measured color against gray balance targets and send any necessary adjustments to all units on the press simultaneously. The manroland R700 DirectDrive press achieves the fastest makereadies in its class while simultaneously changing plates, providing Sandy Alexander with increased capacity and improved efficiency. The press also allows electronic on-the-fly print length adjustments, for additional time savings.
