Crawford Technologies, provider of innovative document solutions that streamline, improve and manage customer communications, announced that Scott Baker was honored posthumously with the Xplor 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award on November 14, during the Xplor Customer Communications Management (CCM) Summit. Baker, a pioneering leader in technology marketing, served as executive vice president at Crawford Technologies until he passed away on June 29, 2023.
The prestigious award from document systems association, Xplor, is given to an individual whose efforts and contributions have significantly changed the course and development of the digital document and customer communications industry.

Baker’s distinguished career spans more than 30 years in marketing, strategy, international business development, global sales and strategic alliances in a variety of industries. During his tenure as an executive leader with Crawford Technologies, Baker was instrumental in shaping the company’s AccessibilityNow.com e-commerce business and was heavily involved in business development and product marketing, helping Crawford Technologies become the leading document solutions provider.
As a sought-after public speaker and author, Baker was recognized as a global subject matter expert on CCM and earned a reputation for enriching his audiences with new insights and information. His expertise encompassed a broad range of issues and he influenced the development of such critical concepts as enterprise communications processing (ECP), software-as-a-service (SaaS), enterprise content management (ECM), variable data publishing (VDP) and production print.
