Screen Americas Wins Award for the 'Best Direct Mail Case Study' at the Inkjet Summit
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.—May 8, 2015—Screen Americas wrapped up another highly successful Inkjet Summit in Florida, not only taking home the trophy for best case study presentation in the direct mail category but also being voted for the second year in a row a "Top Company to Watch in 2015." Both accolades were based on votes cast by senior managers and business executives at the third annual conference. The industry recognition reflects Screen’s position as the market’s leading manufacturer of high-speed production-class inkjet printers and presses in the highly demanding markets of direct mail, transactional/transpromo printing, and book and catalog publishing.
"We are excited and proud to be recognized by thought leaders and business owners in this demanding market," said Ken Ingram, vice president of sales and marketing for Screen Americas. "Screen’s solutions are mission-critical in production environments that are incredibly demanding in terms of turnaround, uptime, capacity and quality. Our success in the direct mail space over the past few years is the story of our customers’ success, and it’s truly gratifying when we can stand together with our customers as partners and tell a compelling story."
Held from April 27-29 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Inkjet Summit 2015 brought together print executives, technology suppliers and industry experts in a setting devoted to networking, business meetings and strategic information sharing sessions. Presentations geared toward companies that have or plan to install inkjet solutions highlighted the real-world impact of different printing systems on the transaction/transpromo, book and direct mail/marketing segments.
Screen’s Chris DuBach and Cary Ross spoke to attendees about the overall benefits of high-speed inkjet printing and the unique advantages of the Truepress Jet520 series.
The Truepress Jet520 enables superior quality that goes beyond the traditional boundaries of variable printing. As of March 2015, Screen has manufactured more than 800 high-speed inkjet presses since the market-defining Truepress Jet520S was launched. It remains the best-selling inkjet press for the direct mail, transactional and book printing markets.
The direct mail market is adopting high-speed inkjet technology at a rapid pace. For companies that are evaluating various systems on the market today, the total cost of ownership can be somewhat of a mystery.
In the winning presentation, Screen showcased how several direct marketing print providers are using the Truepress Jet520 to generate profitable revenue streams. The presentation included a candid approach to the true cost of ownership of an inkjet press with no hidden costs.
"We look forward to participating in the Inkjet Summit because it continues to be a marquee event for Screen Americas," Ingram said. "The quality of attendees is always absolutely outstanding. It gets better every year. I believe Screen gave attendees a valuable experience. I hope that the attendees felt the same."
