SCREEN Americas announces the successful turnout at its executive preview event held in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, where the company demonstrated its next generation of digital roll-fed inkjet technology, the Truepress JET 560HDX. In attendance on April 9, 2024, were SCREEN’s high-profile customers, many of whom have already committed to purchasing the new press, along with several executives from SCREEN’s headquarters in Kyoto, Japan.
An entire day was set aside for the event, offering a sneak preview of what is planned for drupa, where SCREEN will showcase the Truepress JET 560HDX in Hall 8a, Booth A03, from May 28 to June 7, 2024, in Düsseldorf, Germany. With 1,200 x 1,200 dpi capabilities, an expanded color gamut, state-of-the art curing techniques, anti-flushing printhead technologies, and the ability to handle an expanded range of popular papers, the Truepress JET 560HDX will certainly stop foot traffic at the most renowned convention in the printing industry.
“This event signifies a major milestone for SCREEN Americas, not just in debuting the pioneering Truepress JET 560HDX, but also as our first major customer event at the new Elk Grove Village headquarters,” said President Ken Ingram of SCREEN Americas. “Our fully equipped Inkjet Innovation Center was not only designed to showcase our solutions, but more importantly, to serve our prospects and customers. This gathering marks the beginning of a new chapter of innovation and customer collaboration for SCREEN.”
Attendees to SCREEN’s executive preview event not only had the opportunity to see the 560HDX operate at full speed and full resolution, they also had the opportunity to network with other inkjet users and consult with SCREEN’s resources. Product Manager Aron Allenson walked customers through the easy-to-use process of operating the press and gave a separate presentation on the advantages of high-speed digital inkjet. “Any day we spend with a SCREEN customer is a good day,” said Allenson. “It was great to be able to demonstrate the new press and highlight its efficiencies, automation and exceptional color resolution. Helping our customers become more competitive and achieve greater cost efficiency is very important to SCREEN.”
Other digital inkjet solutions, including the Truepress JET 520NX and Truepress JET 520HD for high-speed commercial, direct mail, and publishing work along with the Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI for prime and industrial label production, were displayed in the Inkjet Innovation Center.
