ROLLING MEADOWS, IL—08/26/2009—At PRINT 09, visitors to the Screen (USA) booth will be able to see how fast and efficiently the Truepress Jet520 inkjet web press prints full-color book pages.
The Truepress Jet520 can function as a high-quality, variable data printing system and as a high-speed, on-demand printing system with exceptional color. It delivers competitively priced, on-demand single-copy printing, as well as mass-market book production.
"Screen was the first to introduce high-quality, high-speed, color drop-on-demand technology to the medium-web market in 2005," said Bill Brunone, vice president of targeted inkjet systems. "Screen has always introduced products that are at the top of the quality spectrum for their class. The Truepress Jet520 is no exception. It excels at printing books, newspapers, transpromo pieces and customized direct mail. This system leverages Screen's rich history of color separation, screening technology and image reconstruction together with the finest inkjet head technology available. Screen can now say that we are the market leader in high-speed color drop-on-demand systems in the world."
