Explore a variety of ink technologies and what printers need to know about how to use them in this informative session today from 1 to 2:15 pm, in Room 333. It will be led by Michael Maxwell, the Atlanta Branch Manager for Mimaki USA (Booths 1231 and 1345). With more than 20 years of experience in the printing and imaging field, Maxwell is an imaging aficionado, devoted technologist, listener and leader, who is adept at understanding individual goals, assessing workflow gaps, developing partnerships and delivering best in class solutions to address his customers’ requirements for growth.
“We will explore a variety of ink technologies and the different places print service providers can start or expand their offerings with digital printing,” says Maxwell. “The presentation will include a discussion on solvent/eco-solvent, latex, UV, digital textile inks and solvent UV, and their suitability for specific and wide-ranging applications. Attendees should leave with a good understanding of the suitability of different digital print technologies, based on application need.”
