LAS VEGAS — August 23, 2016 — The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) has announced that VP of Sustainability for Las Vegas Sands Katarina Tesarova will serve as the keynote speaker for its upcoming 2016 Printing Industry Sustainability Conference, which will be held at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel on Sept 13.
As VP of sustainability, Tesarova has developed and implemented a comprehensive sustainability strategy designed to measurably reduce Las Vegas Sands' impact on the environment. The organization's award-winning sustainability program lends expertise, manpower, and knowledge to environmental efforts worldwide, which makes Tesarova an ideal fit to speak to an exclusive conference of printers and leading brands dedicated to pushing the envelope of efficiency and sustainability.
Prior to joining Las Vegas Sands, Tesarova led sustainable operations and LEED certification programs for MGM Grand and CityCenter. Her leadership resulted in six LEED gold certifications for CityCenter, which currently holds the record for the largest new construction LEED-certified project in the world.
Tesarova's keynote speech will address her successful integration of sustainable practices into Las Vegas Sands' local and global initiatives. The Sands is recognized as a leader in sustainable building development and resort operations.
