Franchise Services Reports Signs of Growth at Sir Speedy, PIP, Signal Graphics Convention
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. — August 5, 2016 — The annual Sir Speedy, PIP and Signal Graphics International Convention and Vendor Show was held July 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. During the three-day event, franchise owners and salespeople from around the country were presented with awards for sales and other outstanding achievements in 2015. Franchise network revenue for 2015 was up higher than the industry average, which was evident during the awards ceremonies where many first timers were recognized.
“We present more than 100 awards in many categories to recognize the sales achievements and accomplishments of leaders in our franchise network,” explains Richard Lowe, president and COO of Franchise Services. “Each and every one is well-earned, and I am honored to have such a talented and professional network of franchisees and salespeople in our organization.”
A highlight of the event each year is the announcement of Franchisees of the Year for both the Sir Speedy and PIP brands. George Coriaty of Whittier, Calif., was named the Sir Speedy Franchisee of the Year, and Steve and Ellen Sax of Sunrise, Fla., were named the PIP Franchisee of the Year.

In addition to the award ceremonies, events included keynote presentations, breakout seminars, social gatherings and the largest trade show hosted by any single company in the printing, signs and marketing services industry where leading companies such as Ricoh, Xerox, Canon U.S.A., HP, Four51, EFI, Konica Minolta, Duplo and others exhibited in more than 140 booths. Ricoh has served as Signature Sponsor of the event since 2011.
