Bookmasters Signs New Agreements with Six Publishers to Distribute Their Titles in the U.S., Abroad
ASHLAND, OH—October 15, 2014—Effective immediately, Bookmasters, one of the largest integrated providers of book publishing services, has signed new agreements with six publishers, including three Christian publishing groups, to distribute their titles in the United States and abroad: Centum Books, Bancroft Press, Flame Tree Publishers, the Christian Board of Publication/Chalice Press, Somersault Group and Generations with Vision.
“We are thrilled to welcome these publishers into the Bookmasters family,” said Ken Fultz, general manager at Bookmasters. “While each publisher specializes in their own unique content, the quality of each publisher’s work stands on its own and complements the work of Bookmasters’ growing group of exceptional publishers.”
Centum Books is one of the United Kingdom’s leading children's book publishers, selling more than three million titles annually as the official publisher of popular brands including One Direction, Justin Bieber, WWE, Hello Kitty and Union J. Bookmasters will provide North American fulfillment for Centum’s titles.
Baltimore, MD-based Bancroft Press prides itself in having “survived for twenty years without a niche.” Their collection includes the September 2014 release It Won’t Always Be This Great, the debut novel of former Seinfeld writer and executive producer Peter Mehlman. Bookmasters will provide worldwide distribution for Bancroft’s full catalog of titles.
Flame Tree Publishers has a collection of titles that cover a range of subjects, including music, popular culture and lifestyle, as well as cookbooks and calendars. Based in the United Kingdom, Flame Tree Publishing had previously partnered and continues to work with Bookmasters for eBook distribution. Bookmasters will provide selective distribution for Flame Tree Publishing’s top titles.
The Christian Board of Publication and its imprint Chalice Press make up the publishing arm of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Chalice Press publishes titles that promote the benefits of Christian faith and spirituality, social justice, congregational life, theology and tools for outdoor ministry. Two of their bestselling titles include Holy Currencies: Six Blessings for Sustainable Missional Ministries (ISBN 9780827214927) and Images of Pastoral Care: Classic Readings (ISBN 9780827216242). Bookmasters will provide worldwide distribution to the Christian market for all of the Christian Board of Publication’s and Chalice Press’ titles.
Somersault Group, established in 2010 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, partners with several leading global Christian publishers and worldwide ministries, including Focus on the Family, Zondervan, Compassion International and Logos Bible Software. Bookmasters will provide worldwide distribution to both the Christian and secular markets for titles from a select group of Somersault’s publishing partners, beginning with Webster Publishing.
The publishing arm of Generations with Vision evolved from an AM radio station program that began in Colorado Springs, CO, in 2003.
