Sixth Annual Inkjet Summit Kicks Off Today in Beautiful Ponte Vedra Beach
More than 120 printers will converge on the seaside Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, near Jacksonville, Fla., this afternoon to kick off the sixth-annual Inkjet Summit. Organized by Printing Impressions' parent company, NAPCO Media, in partnership with nGage Events, the invitation-only event will provide attendees with an in-depth education about production inkjet printing.
In his role as conference chair, Marco Boer, VP of I.T. Strategies, will start the event Monday night with a provocative keynote looking back at the past 10 years of production inkjet technology to examine whether the technology has delivered the results it promised.
Also on the docket that night, Barb Pellow, of Pellow & Partners, will lead a panel discussion featuring four inkjet press users who will focus on their experiences. Panelists include Brett Coltman, COO, Direct Technologies; Adam LeFebvre, president, SPC-Specialty Print Communications; Martin Aalsma, VP, King Printing; and Marianne Gaige, chairman and CEO, Cathederal Corp.
For three days, printing company owners and senior-level managers will network and compare notes with each other and the sponsors, sharing real-life experiences and enjoying a nonstop program of keynotes, user panel discussions, case studies and expert consultant presentations.
Printing Impressions' Editor-in-Chief Mark Michelson will also lead a general session called "The Business Justification Process to Acquire Inkjet." It will feature Ravinder Birdi, director of operations, Intersections; Alex Calpito, director of operations, Formost mediaOne; and Chris Feryn, president, Premier Press.
