Southeastern Printing Announces $7.5M Reinvestment for 2019
Southeastern Printing, one of the largest printing and marketing solutions providers in Florida, recently announced a large-scale reinvestment. Southeastern has been providing marketing solutions for nearly a century for a variety of companies, including both local and national Fortune 500 corporations. The company’s success is largely due to their enduring mantra of simplifying the complex and embracing the role of stewards of their clients’ brands.
Kicking off the new year, the recently-installed Komori 8-color perfector press allows for two-sided printing in one pass, delivering 30,000 printed sides per hour with robust color reproduction using LED UV-cured inks. The press is well suited for high-volume catalogs, magazines and brochures. LED UV inks cure almost instantly shortening the overall production cycle.
In addition to the Komori press, Southeastern added two Xerox iGen 5 and 1000i digital presses which offer a fifth printing unit for spot colors, white and metallic inks. Southeastern’s Packaging Department has been bolstered with a Heidelberg ProMatrix diecutting machine for producing retail cosmetic packaging, labels and custom boxes. Bulk mailing efficiencies have been enhanced with a Flowmaster high-speed Inserter. Other production upgrades include a Duplo Slitter/Cutter as well as a top of-the-line Graphtec Cutting Plotter for intricate cuts on a variety of substrates.
"Our CEO’s reinvestment in the company makes us very excited for 2019 and enables us to tackle any size project even more quickly and efficiently," stated Darcey Thompson, director of marketing for Southeastern Printing. “We are ready to take your brand to the next level.”
