CULVER CITY, CA— December 3, 2013—Southern California Graphics now offers access to printing services previously unavailable within the company. Southern California Graphics, an award winning commercial printing company founded in 1974, recently implemented an in-house suite of printing technology to provide full service printing to Los Angeles area residents and businesses. “Quality is always higher when processes are maintained in-house,” stated Mike Riggin of Southern California Graphics.
The new machinery provides in-house printing of custom pocket folders, ornaments, or any shape or pattern cut from paper. Die cutting and gluing are new machines to the building, but the processes are not new to the company. Southern California Graphics has hired employees with 26 of years’ experience with die cutting in the printing industry.
While the company has invested in several new machines, the real magic comes from the technological advances in gluing. The new die cut and glue machine is a work of art, which must be watched in progress to fully appreciate. Complex shapes and designed are cut, folded, and glued to produce the finished product in seconds. Adding the die cutting and gluing machine to the company’s current lineup of equipment means all products are finished on site, with no need to mail out products for final preparations before delivering to consumers.
Expanding in-house machinery facilitates order completion in less time with a higher finished quality. It allows for more intricate designs and greater creativity in designing marketing and promotional materials as well.
