Southwest Offset Printing Inks Pact with USA Today
GARDENA, CA—June 30, 2010—Southwest Offset Printing, Inc. (S.O.P.), one of the nation’s leading independently owned print providers, announced today that it has signed a long-term contract with Gannett, Inc.’s USA Today unit to provide print manufacturing services for the publication’s Northern California edition.
To accommodate the business, it was previously reported that Southwest will relocate its Redwood City, CA, manufacturing operation to nearby San Jose. The 68,000 sq.ft. facility will include two web offset press lines, complete bindery and inserting capabilities and fully-digital prepress and production operations. The facility will be operational during Q3 2010.
