Spectra Print Installs Sentinel Ink Management System on Komori Lithrone G40 Press
In 2022, Spectra Print took delivery of a new Komori G40P 8-color press with a perfecter, UV drying system, coater and added the Sentinel iPro Ink Management System. The press quickly became the new company flagship handling the majority of Spectra Print's work.
Executive Vice President, Hans Hofmeister, says he is extremely satisfied with Sentinel and its positive impact on the business. "We are able to achieve far more accurate tracking of our ink usage than before. It saves us on ink costs offering better color consistency and waste reduction. Plus, our press operators can focus on other critical job functions besides keeping the fountains filled.”
Originally named Valley Sales Company, the company was founded in 1930 by Oscar Hofmeister who sold and distributed trading stamps.
