ANDOVER, MA—August 2, 2010—Standard Finishing Systems, a leading supplier of postpress and paper handling solutions for the graphic arts and print on demand markets, has brought new perfect binding technology, mailroom automation and continuous-feed efficiency to several new customers:
A new Standard Horizon BQ-470 automated four-clamp binder was recently installed in the full-service bindery of UniGraphic, Inc. in Woburn, MA. The binder’s intelligent, icon-based color touchscreen provides quick, easy and automated set-up, and allows for instant recall of recurring jobs from memory.
According to Bob Quinlan, president, “We evaluated all available binding technologies, and spoke with industry peers whose opinion we respect. We decided the BQ-470 was the best-suited binder for our needs, and it has performed beyond expectation.” He added, “The BQ-470 gives us that competitive binding edge, with a quick-change adhesive system that lets us switch between EVA and PUR adhesives in just minutes.”
The sale was completed by Standard dealer A.L.Larsen of MA. UniGraphic, Inc. serves the greater Boston, MA, area and offers a comprehensive range of offset and digital printing services as well as direct mail fulfillment.
