Standard Finishing Systems and the Müller Martini Group with Hunkeler AG are pleased to announce that they have entered into a multi-year sales and service agreement for the United States and Canada. Standard and Hunkeler have been close strategic partners for more than twenty-five years and will now continue with a strong spirit of collaboration in finishing for roll-fed inkjet presses.
Since Müller Martini purchased all shares of Hunkeler AG in December 2023, Müller Martini, Hunkeler and Standard have been working closely together to formulate this new agreement to meet the needs of the large installed base of Hunkeler customers in the US and Canada.
The top priority for all three companies has been to provide customers and printer partners with uninterrupted access to Hunkeler solutions, parts, training and technical services today and into the future. The agreement defines the transition of much of the Hunkeler business to the Hauppauge, NY based Müller Martini Corp. over the coming seventeen months. The agreement also includes long-term cooperation between Standard and Hunkeler on equipment, service and parts.
Müller Martini CEO Bruno Müller expressed his enthusiasm, stating "We are excited that we managed to find a cooperation that builds on the strengths of both Standard and Müller Martini, while preserving customer and printer partner confidence in Hunkeler technology and support systems for the US and Canada without disruption."
“Renewing this partnership with Hunkeler and Müller Martini positions Standard to continue delivering print service providers with efficient, reliable and cost-effective feeding andfinishing technology for years to come,” said Standard President Steven Reny.
"Hunkeler remains committed to preserving customer and printer partner confidence in Hunkeler technology and support systems for the US and Canada without disruption," said Hunkeler CEO Daniel Erni.
