DAYTON, OH—May 19, 2011—Standard Register, a recognized leader in management and execution of critical communications, established a formal sustainability program in 2007, focused on reducing the printer’s environmental impact. Although the company has monitored its progress internally, it was not aware of the overall impact until this year when it participated in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Standard Register scored 91 out of 100 possible points, among the top 5 percent of 1,100 companies participating in the study. The average score for participating companies was 48.
