NORMAN, Okla. - February 6, 2019 - Scodix announced the recent installation of an Ultra2 Pro system at StoneHouse Marketing Services in Norman, Oklahoma. The company, which has been in business since 1995, plans to use the Ultra2 Pro to better serve their large retail and healthcare clients, as well as their gift card, loyalty card and direct mail clients.
“We believe that the Scodix Ultra2 Pro will be a valuable asset for our clients to add to their marketing strategies,” said Brian Mortensen, VP Sales/Marketing for StoneHouse. Traditionally, noted Mortensen, the company has outsourced all of its foil stamping and spot-UV enhancements. With the Ultra2 Pro, they are now bringing all of that work back in-house. “Within the last few months, we have purchased a range of new equipment to help us better serve our customers, as well as allow us to enter new markets,” added Mortensen.“In addition to the Scodix Ultra2 Pro, we purchased a new Rollem diecutter, two new HP Indigo presses (for a total of 5), and a Kompac UV coater.”
StoneHouse is taking a multi-pronged approach to alert customers to its new capabilities, with the sales force taking samples of work produced on the Scodix Ultra2 Pro to current customers. Often this includes their own previous jobs, enhanced, to demonstrate how the new technologies can benefit them directly. The company is also utilizing traditional direct mailings and email marketing campaigns to promote their new embellishment capabilities, to customers and prospects alike.
“We’re seeing merit in this approach,” said Mortensen. “The pieces we mail out offer the opportunity to see what’s possible with the Scodix Ultra2 Pro.” Already, several of their current customers have started test campaigns to see how the new effects will fit into their marketing strategies.
Looking forward, StoneHouse sees the Scodix Ultra2 Pro as another tool to help them in their quest to provide their customers with the best possible responses. “We’ve always been in the loyalty business,” said Mortensen. He noted that their end goal is always to help customers drive more traffic into their stores and make the end-users feel important and valued without adding a lot of extra expense for the brands who come to them for service.
Mortensen noted that currently, StoneHouse is the only company in their region to offer the Scodix technology, giving them another a decisive edge over the competition. “Everyone who has seen it has liked the capability, and the fact that they don’t have to buy custom dies to do any foil. It’s not a hard sell to get them to try it.”
“StoneHouse Marketing is a fantastic example of a company that is evolving to meet the needs of the modern print buyer. The investments they are making are impressive, and Scodix is humbled to be part of their journey. We are excited to see where they take our technology next, and we will be with them every step of the way as they continue to define what it means to be a print service provider in today’s demanding marketplace,” said Scodix CEO Adina Shorr.
