NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies elected three new directors at its annual conference in October. The new directors, elected to three-year terms expiring at the 2007 meeting, are: James Martin, vice president of marketing, Heidelberg USA; Jochen Meissner, executive vice president and COO, Goss International; and Chris Morrissey, corporate vice president of marketing, Sun Chemical. Re-elected to terms expiring at the 2007 meeting were D. J. Burgess, president and CEO, Burgess Industries; Bruce Goodwin, president, Glunz & Jensen; and David Reny, vice president and managing director, Standard Finishing Systems. Kathryn Marx, vice president of marketing and strategic planning, Flint Ink, was elected to serve the second year of her term as chair of the association. Elected to serve as officers with Marx were Regis J. Delmontagne, president; William Smythe Jr., vice president; Mark Nuzzaco, secretary; and Thomas Saggiomo, treasurer. Elected to serve on the executive committee with Marx and Saggiomo were H.A. Brandtjen III, president, Brandtjen & Kluge; Gerald Clark, director of sales, corporate accounts, Graphics Microsystems; Paul Madill, executive vice president and COO, Madern USA; Don Ohlig, managing director, OLEC Corp.; and Reny. Also at the conference, Stanley Freimuth, senior executive vice president and CAO of Fuji Photo Film USA, and Goss International received the 2004 Harold W. Gegenheimer Awards for Industry Service.
