Pitney Bowes has installed its 1,000th Mailstream Productivity Series inserting system. The system is now being used by more than 400 print and mail operations around the world. It can process up to 26,000 mailpieces per hour.
KBA North America has selected David Wright to serve as an electrician in the web offset service department catering to the newspaper industry. He comes to KBA from the Rockford (IL)Register Star, where he was production maintenance supervisor.
Two new PaperPlus wholesale locations—the stores division of Unisource Worldwide—have been opened. Tim Kingery is now operating the new store at 2835 Jeff Adams Dr. in Charlotte, NC; and Landon Olson is now managing the new PaperPlus store located at 9219 Quivira Rd. in Overland Park, KS.
