Printing Developments Inc. (PDI) has named Tom Bevan as the new director of sales and marketing. Bevan comes to PDI from Elkay Manufacturing.

Systems integrator Torque Systems has acquired industry Internet service provider Digital Art Exchange (DAX). Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it does not include the PrintPlanet.com spin-off. The DAX employees will now form the nucleus of Torque Systems' Boston office. DAX network products will be offered and supported by Torque Systems.
