WAUNAKEE, Wis. — November 11, 2016 — Suttle-Straus is pleased to announce the completion of its new Imaging and Mailing Center. The 22,000+-square-foot facility is designed to process all types of mailing applications, from billing and healthcare statements to postcards, catalogs, and more.
The expansion was a result of Suttle-Straus' acquisition of the transactional billing statement work from its affiliate business units, TDS Telecom and U.S. Cellular. Processing of their billing statements began in May 2016. The addition of transactional mail services enhances Suttle-Straus' direct mail capabilities and improves its overall operational efficiency. All forms of mail are now able to be processed under one roof within the Imaging and Mailing Center.
Due to the data-sensitive nature of materials printed, inserted, sorted, and mailed, the Imaging and Mailing Center is secured 24x7x365 via card access control systems and video surveillance. The physical facility and its associated policies, processes, and procedures are designed to adhere to best practices and controls set by HIPAA/PHI, PCI, CPNI, and other privacy-related standards.
Current annual mail volume exceeds 40 million direct mail pieces and 25 million statements.
Ted Straus, president and CEO of Suttle-Straus, notes, "The Imaging and Mailing Center represents the largest investment in mailing services since the company was founded 100 years ago. The ability to process complex direct and transactional mail from a single source is a unique differentiator and strengthens our position as a complete marketing solutions provider."
Suttle-Straus looks forward to offering this expansion of services to its clients and will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. to celebrate the official launch of the Imaging and Mailing Center. Click here to RSVP to the IMC ribbon cutting ceremony.
