Suttle-Straus Completes Six-Color Komori Press Install

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL—April 19, 2011—Komori America, a premier manufacturer of sheetfed and web offset printing presses, announced that Suttle-Straus (Waunakee, WI) has recently installed a six-color Komori Lithrone S40 (LS640) with UV coater as part of its $2.6 million capital improvement plan. Suttle-Straus is recognized as one of the Midwest’s premier providers of communications solutions, specializing in producing high-end corporate communications, direct mail and advertising materials.

The impetus for the investment is to provide customers with cutting-edge, end-to-end technologies and enhancements designed to increase efficiencies and deliver a new level of productivity. The advanced capabilities of the Komori press will offer Suttle-Straus’ customers expanded print applications including paper, board and plastic substrates as well as conventional UV and hybrid processes.

Approximately 70 percent of the company’s production is focused on direct mail.
