Synergy Graphics Acquires Assets From Scoville Press
PLYMOUTH, MN—July 31, 2006—Synergy Graphics Inc. has recently purchased the web, mailing and fulfillment assets of Scoville Press Inc. of Plymouth, MN. Financial details of the transaction between the two privately held companies were not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Synergy broadened its range of commercial printing services, which now includes web, digital, and sheet-fed printing, plus a host of in-house mailing, fulfillment, finishing and other post-print capabilities.
The asset purchase now means Synergy has operations in three locations: Fridley, MN – fulfillment and mailing; Plymouth, MN – printing and finishing; and St. Cloud, MN – election services and supplies.
According to co-owner Mike O’Meara, adding to Synergy’s growing list of printing services strengthens its presence in the direct mail market and significantly increases capacities and solutions for the publications industry.
“We’ve built our business and reputation on multi-color and specialty printing,” O’Meara says, “and adding Scoville’s web, mailing and fulfillment assets is a natural extension of our core sheet-fed business. We now offer total solutions—a true synergy—for our customers.”
