TanaSeybert Consolidates into Manhattan Complex
NEW YORK—Print management solutions provider TanaSeybert is relocating its operations into one Manhattan-based facility starting this month.
The phased move, expected to be completed by the end of the summer, physically unites the companies formed in the 2004 merger of Tanagraphics and Seybert Nicholas Printing Group. The two entities will join forces in a seven-story, 140,000-square-foot facility at 525 West 52nd St. in Manhattan.
As part of the move, TanaSeybert will also acquire the print manufacturing assets of United Envelope, garnering three presses in the deal to bring its total to 16. That total includes a new six-color press to be installed in the new plant. A new computer-to-plate (CTP) system is also being installed, supported by a new digital prepress workflow.
The Tanagraphics portion of the move was slated to begin in May as it vacates its 263 Ninth St. location. The Seybert Nicholas end will then exit 420 West 25th St. Both parties expect to be settled in by the end of August.
