The EGT Group Announces $2 Million Dollar Expansion Program

The EGT Group, Inc., Michigan’s largest commercial printer, is pleased to announce a further expansion of their facilities. They are committing more than $2 million dollars to add an 18,000 square foot building, an iGen3 press, an upgraded proofing system and additional staff to further support and expand their customer base. With their additional building, they now have in excess of 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space all located in the city of Madison Heights, Michigan.

With the iGen3, high-quality short-run four-color process printing, whether personalized or static, is now more affordable than ever. Because the iGen3 prints without plates and has no traditional make-ready or wash-up procedures, costs are dramatically reduced. This makes previously uneconomical print projects possible.

The iGen3’s capability to produce true variable text and image printing “on the fly”, combined with EGT’s complete data, prepress and mailing/fulfillment services, allows for full personalized print runs that enhance the effectiveness of many projects ranging from direct mail promotions to corporate marketing resources materials.

All applications of the iGen3 production turnaround times are extremely quick due to the totally digital nature of the workflow. Because the inks are dry as they are delivered from the press, bindery and mailing operations can start immediately after printing with no further drying time required.
