The Flesh Co. Purchases New Domino K600i Inkjet Unit to Complement Its Variable Imaging Offering
ST. LOUIS—October 3, 2014—The Flesh Co. has purchased a new Domino K600i inkjet unit, recently displayed at the 2014 Labelexpo show for their label division. The new unit is capable of printing on coated and uncoated materials at 600 dpi. The system can produce variable imaging for bar codes and numbering which can include micro printing at 1,200 dpi.
"The Domino is a great addition to our current variable imaging offering," said Mark Gerling, executive vice president of sales and marketing for The Flesh Co. "We produce a wide range of barcoded labels many of which are affixed to business documents produced in our forms plant. The new K600i will give us higher quality and efficiency which will allows us to enter more label markets."
The new unit is expected to be delivered, installed and in operation by year end. Additional support equipment has also been purchased to support roll label orders which is a growing part of the company's label offering, servicing the trucking, warehouse, distribution and Etailer markets.
