The Printerverse Returns to PRINT 13
CHICAGO—July 23, 2013—PrintMediaCentr is pleased to announce the Printerverse will return to Chicago’s McCormick Place, September 8-12, 2013, for PRINT 13 and co-located CPP EXPO, where attendees will discover a unique show floor space where they can connect with the topics, trends, and people who are driving the print and marketing industries forward. Located in booth #5440, the Printerverse, which spans 2,800 square feet, will offer a mixture of events focused on the latest industry trends featuring panel discussions, interactive sharing sessions, awards presentations and networking events. The Printerverse will also serve as a social media hub on the PRINT 13 and CPP EXPO show floor.
Deborah Corn, intergalactic ambassador to the Printerverse and principal at PrintMediaCentr (PMC) stated, “We are thrilled to be part of PRINT 13 because, quite simply, there is nothing like the Printerverse anywhere else on the show floor. It offers a casual lounge-type atmosphere where visitors can come to meet—actually make face-to-face connections—tweet, network and learn something new.”
Programming in the Printerverse will be dedicated to showcasing a range of topics, including: what is possible with ink on paper; how to incorporate next-level marketing technologies to deliver cross-media solutions; ways to add new services that can generate greater revenue. The Printerverse will also provide opportunities for attendees to join the conversation about the future of our industry. “Like everything PMC does,” Corn added, “attendees should expect the unexpected—and plan to have lots of fun as well!"
Building on the success of the Printerverse, which first debuted at GRAPH EXPO 2012, the highly interactive show floor feature will expand as an information resource through the support of names-you-know exhibitor industry partners whom Corn has dubbed the “Intergalactic Alliance of the Printerverse.” These Alliance Partners will present to show-goers, and the entire PrintMediaCentr community, information about business-building tools, products, equipment and services designed to add value to their existing client offerings, and which can also create new profit opportunities.
The still-growing roster of Printerverse Partners includes:
- FastBind

"I am pleased to welcome back PMC’s Printerverse to this year’s industry event because it offers an important forum on the show floor where attendees can connect and learn from one another," said GASC President Ralph Nappi. "And now, it provides even greater value with the added benefits of guidance and direction on new ways to improve their businesses direct from many of our industry’s foremost experts-PRINT 13 exhibitors."
During the course of the five-day show, the Printerverse will also host a variety of industry events, notably the 2nd Annual “National Girls Who Print Day” on Tuesday, September 10, plus daily panel discussions, keynote speakers, contests, and interactive attendee participation activities. Additionally, a live #printchat will take place from #Print13 on Wednesday, September 11, at 3 p.m. CST.
