COLUMBUS, OH—A five-alarm fire Thursday afternoon at PressWorks sent five firefighters to the hospital, WBNS-TV in Columbus reported. About a dozen crews from local fire departments and emergency management agencies responded to the blaze, which broke out just before 3 p.m.
Three firefighters suffered from heat-related injuries while two others were burned by a flashover, which is defined as a quick burst of flames when it becomes heated to the flash point, the station reported. All 65 employees inside the building at the time of the fire escaped unharmed.
The fire was contained around 5:30 p.m. Its cause remains under investigation.
