Top 25 Hot Markets for Print Demand in 2022 Is Revealed in Special Printing Industry Report
For more than 30 years, noted printing industry researcher and analyst Vincent Mallardi has been tracking the vertical markets/categories that procure the most printing in America as part of his annual "Hot Markets" forecast for overall print demand. According to his newly published report, the Top 25 Hot Markets, combined, in 2022 will account for nearly 98% of total printing in the U.S., a 1% increase over the previous year.

Among the entire Top 25 Hot Markets for Print Demand, Mallardi predicts nine (up from eight in 2021) will increase print demand by more than 5%; 13 (up from 10 in 2021) will be near level at -3% to +3%, and three (from seven in 2021) will decline between -5% to -22%. All will account for close to 98% of total U.S. print demand, a slight increase from last year.
New and evolving demand categories, and impending declines in traditional mainstays, foretell the next social, political, and technological developments that will lead or lag the economy.
