ROLLING MEADOWS, IL—September 6, 2013—Komori America announced that Zoo Printing recently added its eleventh 40˝ Komori Lithrone (LS40) press to support the significant growth the company is experiencing. Servicing the trade since 2001, Zoo Printing began its business with a Komori press and has grown through the last decade into a nationwide operation with multiple Komori presses in each of its three production facilities located in California, Kentucky and New Jersey. The company reports it stays loyal to Komori presses as its business continues to expand because they print faster than competitive models, are simple to operate and hold consistent color—all critical attributes to meet its requirement of aggressive turnaround without sacrificing quality.
In addition to the new press, Zoo Printing has also taken advantage of the KomoriKare Program that offers an entire line of value-added support that includes press upgrades, as well as the addition of feeder and PDC-SII upgrades, that enhance the productivity of their Lithrone presses.
“Our clients expect top quality print at wholesale prices with exceptionally fast turnaround,” said Dan Doron, president of Zoo Printing. “With Komori’s support we are able to exceed those expectations. In our business, it’s all about finding the best value in the industry and passing that value on to our clients. For us, Komori is unmatched in value.”
Zoo Printing plans to purchase another 10 Komori presses in the next five years as it eyes expansions in new regions.
“To stay competitive, every print provider needs to find ways to slice away at production costs,” explained Jacki Hudmon, senior vice president of sales for Komori America. “We value our long-term relationship with Zoo Printing and are especially pleased the company is taking advantage of the KomoriKare program by improving the performance of their pressroom equipment to meet its goals of speed-to-market and a higher level of both quality and productivity.”
