Transcontinental Has Strong Profitability Gain on Lower Revenue in Q1

• At its annual meeting of shareholders on February 18, 2010, Transcontinental officially tabled its first Sustainability Report based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), an international standard for sustainability methodology. Already recognized as a leader in environmental protection and as an organization that is involved in the communities in which it operates, Transcontinental plans to broaden its leadership to include sustainable development, which is both a continuation and expansion of the Corporation’s commitment to the environment.
