Transformed MAN Roland Enjoys Banner Q1

WESTMONT, IL--On the heels of its sale to a joint investment company, MAN Roland Druckmaschinen saw a Q1 US$37.9 million increase (to $17.6 million) in operating results over the same period in 2005. On the sheetfed side, MAN was able to break even with a $32.8 million gain. The web business increased to $17.6 million, a $5 million bump over Q1 2005.

MAN Roland’s press orders increased by 47 percent to $720.4 million, compared to just $489.1 million in 2005. Web press orders for Q1 rose 83 percent to $438.5 million. Sheetfed orders increased 13 percent to $281.8 million.
