HERLEV, Denmark—October 26, 2015—Danish digital press manufacturer Trojanlabel had four TrojanTwo digital presses running practically non-stop at Labelexpo Europe 2015. Visitors came to see the consistent high print quality and low cost per label, and more than 30 TrojanTwo digital presses were sold during the four-day event.
A real eye opener
Coined as the world’s first affordable mini digital label press, the compact TrojanTwo, priced at €40,000 ($44,161), runs 18 meters per minute and up to 1,600x1,600 dpi, providing both vivid and accurate color on a wide assortment of media. TrojanTwo features sophisticated algorithms and in-line print head maintenance, enabling long runs and consistent high print quality. The user-interface is both easy to learn and operate.
TrojanTwo is providing small- and medium-sized conventional label converters with the opportunity to transition to digital label production without compromising quality or making large investments, and opening eyes with many large, established converters—even experienced digital printers, who see it as a professional addition to their existing production equipment.
Success on many levels
With more than 30 units sold at Labelexpo Europe, Trojanlabel is approaching 100 TrojanTwo units sold and installed since launch at Labelexpo Americas in 2014. Furthermore, Trojanlabel closed several distributor deals at the show, and with more to come, solid, competent partners will cover a total of 50 global markets within the next two months.
“Labelexpo was a blast. We had four TrojanTwo presses running non-stop, proving that you don’t need to break the bank to print high quality digital labels. And it’s not just for small and medium-sized converters—large, established converters showed great interest in adding the TrojanTwo to their existing equipment, which we take away as a compliment to the quality and usability on offer. And what’s even better is the fact that our customer’s are very happy, and out of nearly 100 TrojanTwo’s shipped out, not one has come back or caused any major problems. That is pleasing to say the least,” Trojanlabel CEO Mikkel Wichmann remarked.
Great prospects
The future is looking bright for Trojanlabel, with forecasts predicting more than 200 units sold and a turnover in excess of €10 million ($11 million) in the coming year—this just three years after the company was founded. And with constant investment in research and development, the Danish press manufacturer is gearing up to introduce new products right around the corner.
