CARLSTADT, NJ—A five-year veteran of Unimac Graphics died September 8 after he was pulled into the press he was operating.
The Record, of Bergen, NJ, reported that 57-year-old Peter Marchant reached into a press that was running, and the unit latched onto his hands and pulled him up to his shoulders before pushing his head backward. A Carlstadt detective told the paper that Marchant likely died from asphyxiation.
