Bookspan Acquires Inserters

HANOVER, PA—Bookspan, a direct marketer of general interest and specialty book clubs, announced it has ordered 10 Buhrs BB300 envelope inserting systems to enhance mailing capabilities at its facility here. Bookspan, which operates approximately 50 book clubs, is a partnership between Doubleday Direct (owned by Bertelsmann AG) and Book-of-the-Month Club Holdings (owned by Time Inc.).
