Pollard Group Adds Komori Gear

TACOMA, WA—The Pollard Group has installed two new Komori presses: a four-color Lithrone 40 and a six-color Lithrone 28 perfector with in-line coater. Both new Komori presses employ Komori's PDC-S scanning spectrodensitometer.

Standex Int'l Exits Printing

SALEM, NH—Standex International has tentatively decided to close its Cincinnati-based Standard Publishing division's printing operations and cease its commercial printing business. The termination of operations is expected to be concluded by March 31, 2004. The action is expected to eliminate approximately 60 jobs.
