Church Printer Files Chapter 11

YOUNGSTOWN, OH—The nation's largest producer of church envelopes has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The American Paper Co. produces church envelopes for about 45,000 churches nationwide. The company plans to sell some assets to Aurora, MO-based church bulletin printer MWM Dexter, and close its Richmond, VA, facility, eliminating 25 jobs.
