UPM North America Launches Environmentally-Friendly, High-Bulking UPM Impresse Gradeline
NAPERVILLE, Ill.—June 10, 2015—UPM North America announced two innovative new products—UPM Impresse and UPM Impresse Plus—developed to help customers achieve excellent printing results at a lower cost. UPM Impresse and UPM Impresse Plus are extremely high-bulking SCA and SCA++ alternatives that are available in both heatset web offset and rotogravure printing papers. The compressible structure and smooth surface creates excellent print quality while the high bulk characteristics offer substantial feel and yield savings.
“We are excited to offer two new products to North American customers that provide options for a new look and feel in a cost-effective manner," said Jennifer Wilkerson, business development and marketing manager for UPM North America. "Both Impresse and Impresse Plus offer customers the ability to significantly reduce basis weight, while maintaining the thickness of their print products. Alternatively, customers who are seeking to add bulk or thickness to their printed products will appreciate the cost-effective options provided by these papers."
UPM Impresse and UPM Impresse Plus use fewer raw materials to produce, making them environmentally-preferable choices. The products can be ordered with PEFC or FSC certification and are available in a variety of basis weights.
