Vanguard Acquires RIP Developer Xitron

ST. PAUL, MN—Vanguard Graphics International has acquired Xitron Inc. of Ann Arbor, MI, a graphic arts developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors (RIPs), RIP management software and related digital workflow solutions.

Vanguard Graphics International is a privately-held holding company specializing in acquiring and managing graphic arts companies that serve small- to medium-sized printers worldwide. Its other holdings include Printware llc, also based in St. Paul, and HighWater Designs Limited of Cheltenham, UK.
