Vertis Gives Reprieve to Former ACG Plant

The June closing, which had been announced by Vertis in December, would have left 165 employees out of work. It was unclear if staffing levels would remain the same.

Vertis told the paper that shifting customer programs would enable the facility, which produces advertising inserts, to remain open. The work was to be relocated within the printer’s chain.
