Victor Graphics Retains M&A Specialist, Equity Partners
BALTIMORE—June 10, 2013—Equity Partners CRB has been retained by Victor Graphics to find a partner, investor, or buyer for the family-owned, full-service book manufacturer and printing company. Affectionately known throughout the printing industry as "The Pineapple People," Victor Graphics was founded in 1983 and has become the largest privately-owned book printer in Baltimore. Motorists passing through Baltimore on I-95 have undoubtedly seen the 20-foot-tall pineapple on the roof of Victor Graphics’ 116,500-square-foot-facility, but few probably knew the significance. The company’s founders, Judy and Tom Hicks, wanted a logo that was both unique and expressive so they settled on the pineapple, a universal symbol of hospitality. Since then, many pineapple related items have been sent to the company from customers, employees, vendors and friends.
