WALTHAM, Mass. - September 7, 2017 - Vistaprint, known as the go-to source for printed and digital marketing materials for small business owners, has launched several new online resources, providing business owners with education, information and inspiration for their marketing.
The Vistaprint ‘Ideas and Advice’ hub is a resource center on the Vistaprint website that provides business owners with marketing, branding and design advice - intended to answer their most pressing questions when navigating the complex and time-intensive world of running their own business.
Vistaprint has drawn on its extensive experience working with millions of small and micro businesses worldwide to develop a site that addresses the specific needs of sole proprietors and business owners with up to 10 employees. There is a variety of content on the site, including advice articles, inspirational stories of small business owners, videos and infographics, all created by experts from both Vistaprint and the small business community. Topics are selected based on in-depth research on the common challenges and pain points of this unique market. Sample topics include how to write a marketing plan, exhibiting at outdoor events, crafting an elevator pitch, and tips for designing business cards. The content is resonating with readers, with 91% saying it is helpful to them and their business.
In keeping with its focus on providing resources for small business owners, Vistaprint also recently launched PunchList, a simple, easy-to-use, personalized tool for actionable marketing advice. Business owners answer a short list of questions about their business and receive a customized list of marketing recommendations, broken down by the level of complexity and amount of time each recommendation will take to complete.
Shawn Reilly, owner of ATD Painting, faces the challenge of running a seasonal business in a small town, but received some new marketing ideas from PunchList that he has started using, “I think it’s great! I’ve been looking for ways to improve my marketing in a very small town which also happens to be a seasonal economy so winters are very slow. Having a helping hand like this is a huge benefit!”
“Business owners have to wear so many different hats,” says Bridget O’Brien, VP of marketing at Vistaprint. “Helping small and micro businesses achieve their goals is extremely important to us, and is a role we take seriously. This is why we continue to adapt to their needs, adding offerings such as the Ideas and Advice site and PunchList that provide relevant marketing advice for business owners. We’ll continue to adapt both resources as we get feedback from customers to make sure we’re meeting their needs.”
