Vivid Laminating and DataBind Announce U.S. Distribution Deal

LEICESTERSHIRE, England—June 29, 2015—Vivid Laminating Technologies, Europe’s leading designer and manufacturer of laminating systems, has announced a new distribution partnership with DataBind Corp. for the United States.

“Bringing DataBind on board as an Authorized Reseller of our products means a great deal to Vivid,” said Bruce Cozens, export manager, Vivid Laminating Technologies. “They already have a vast knowledge of print finishing equipment, so partnering our laminating systems is the ideal fit.”

Connecticut-based DataBind will be distributing a number of Vivid’s best-selling laminating systems, including its Matrix Duo for double-sided laminating, the Linea Encapsulation Systems and Vivid’s Matrix range of Laminators. The Matrix is already Europe’s number one selling professional laminating system, able to laminate business cards, photo books, menus, postcards and brochures, using OPP film in gloss, matt, anti-scratch and even soft-touch finishes.

Both firms will also be exhibiting at this year’s GRAPH EXPO in Chicago, which runs Sept. 13-16, at McCormick Place. Vivid (booth #3449) will be showcasing its full range of laminating equipment throughout the duration of the show, and will be welcoming many of DataBind’s customers to its booth, showing print service providers how they can increase productivity, decrease costs and generate more revenue.
