Widen Signs Up Seven New Users of its DAM Solution
MADISON, WI—Oct. 19, 2010—Widen Enterprises, a digital asset management software and premedia services company, announced today its service commitment to seven new customers signed during the third quarter of 2010. By leveraging Widen’s digital asset management as a service, these clients’ internal IT teams can focus on improving internal operational systems without diverting those resources to digital asset management.
Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (CCi), one of the largest for-profit, post-secondary education companies in North America, is deploying Widen’s hybrid Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for Digital Asset Management with the Web-based Media Collective and on-site Widen Appliance data replication.
“With four divisions, over 15,000 employees and 122 campuses, my priority was to find a way to provide quick and easy access to digital assets and customized marketing materials,” said Lance White, Digital Studio Manager, CCi. “Thanks to Widen, we will be saving multiple departments valuable time and resources. Finding the right DAM solution was no small task and Widen is a great partner to help us get up and running.”
Other new Widen clients include:
Dorel Recreational/Leisure—manufacturer of the well-known brands Schwinn, Cannondale, Mongoose, GT and Sugoi
Graphcom Creative, Inc.—provider of graphic communications services and print management solutions
Confluence Watersports—world’s leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of kayaks, canoes and paddlesports accessories
Other organizations who have selected Widen’s digital asset management system in the third quarter include a U.S. government office, a global healthcare products leader, and a worldwide manufacturer of consumer packaging products.
“Dorel Recreational/Leisure is excited to launch the Media Collective to provide global access to a digital asset management system across their brands—Cannondale, GT, Schwinn, Mongoose, and SUGOI. The Web-based DAM solution from Widen provides our customers with easy access to the entire library of hi-res photos, graphics, video and marketing materials. It is an important addition to the resources we provide to our customers and employees,” said Christie Parker, Digital Image Archivist, Cycling Sports Group.
“The reason we selected Widen was the available feature set is simply better than the competition for the price,” held Troy Dean, Creative Director, Graphcom Creative, Inc. “DAM will help us empower customers to maximize the return on their creative and brand assets by giving them the ability to access files on demand.”
“As a global leader in the paddlesports industry, our customers expect the highest level of service and ease in working with our company,” stated Craig Ray, Marketing Communications Manager, Confluence Watersports. “The digital asset management tools offered by Widen deliver the kind of versatility and self-service our customers have been asking for. Our new DAM library will be an important tool to help us implement our global branding strategy and support for our dealer network.”
The Media Collective, Widen’s flagship hosted digital asset management product, is now in version 5.5 and supports the creative and marketing workflows of 140 different customers in over sixteen vertical markets. The scalability of the Media Collective allows marketers of all sizes to support their diverse user groups with access to a centralized library of marketing resources for improved performance and a greater ability to manage brand compliance across different business units and geographies.
