PRINTING United Expo, the most dynamic and comprehensive printing event in the world, is just a few short weeks away, and Women in Print Alliance is set to provide myriad community building and networking opportunities for attendees. If you’re heading to Atlanta on October 18-20, be sure to add the following activities below to your show plan and schedule. Unless otherwise noted, events are open to all women attendees. October 12: PRE-EXPO EVENT! – FREE Webinar – PRINTING United Expo 101: Tips & Tricks From Women in Print Leaders
You’re on your way to Atlanta for the 2023 PRINTING United Expo – and we can’t wait to see you! But how can you ensure that you’ll maximize the business and personal benefits of attending? Join us as Lisbeth Lyons Black leads a webinar discussion with fellow women in print who’ve successfully navigated past Expos. These industry leaders will share tips and tricks on fundamentals like logistics and networking, as well as provide advice to help you make the most of your trade show experience.
Learn about opportunities to:
- Network and build new business contacts
- Manage time and efficiency while visiting booths
- Ask the right questions of vendors & suppliers
- Create community with other women in print
- Follow up on post-trade show opportunities
Note: While those registered for Expo will directly benefit from this webinar, the discussion is open to any woman in the industry who would like to learn more about the ins and outs of attending a major industry trade show.
October 16 – 20: Women in Print Alliance Official Hotel Block
Women in Print Alliance is hosting its first-ever official hotel block at Expo! Staying at this hotel – which is walkable to the Expo site – will serve as an informal gathering point for women attendees going to and from the trade show. Women registering for PRINTING United Expo are invited to select hotel lodging at Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center. The Women in Print Alliance hotel block is available October 16 – 20, 2023 at the rate of $235 per standard room. Please note that rooms are offered on a space available basis; you are encouraged to book lodging at the Women in Print Alliance official hotel as soon as possible.
October 18: Welcome Reception for Women in Print Executives
This invitation-only event welcoming women executives in the printing industry to Atlanta will be held on Wednesday, October 18 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM just prior to the PRINTING United Expo Opening Night Party. Complimentary invitations to C-Suite level women in all segments of the print and supplier industry have been emailed to Expo registrants. Did we miss you? Our apologies! October 19: Women in Print Alliance Lunch with Keynote Speaker
This ticketed lunch on Thursday, October 19, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM is open to all women attending PRINTING United Expo. This event features a seated lunch, a keynote presentation by Madeline Fetterly, CEO & Founder of Be the Brand Collective, and an exclusive networking opportunity to connect one-on-one with female industry peers. Located just steps from the show floor in the Georgia World Congress Center, the Women in Print Alliance Lunch will allow you to gain insight, knowledge and inspiration, while enjoying quality time with your peers.
To attend this event, you may purchase a ticket ($75 per person) and select the Women in Print Alliance Lunch option as part of general registration for Expo 2023. Please note that event space is limited; you are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Don’t miss out! Register Now. October 18 – 20: Women in Print Alliance Expo Information Booth
Women in Print Alliance will have a presence at the PRINTING United Alliance booth throughout the trade show hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on October 18 & 19 and 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on October 20. Be sure to stop by, stay hello, and pick up your Women in Print Alliance swag! Please encourage fellow women in print colleagues who may not be familiar with us to visit the booth to learn more about this industry initiative and to sign up for our newsletter on the spot.
