Worldcolor Names Scapin, Expands
MONTREAL—Worldcolor has appointed Daniel Scapin as president of Logistics and Premedia. Scapin, a 30-year industry veteran, has served as president of logistics at RR Donnelley, Moore Wallace and Quebecor World, and is credited with the creation and growth of the world’s largest print logistics businesses.
In other company news, Worldcolor also announced that it has expanded its co-mail platform by opening an additional facility in Dyersburg, TN, representing its third strategically located co-mailing facility in North America. Dyersburg, TN, joins Bolingbrook, IL, and Somerset, NJ, to form a regionally focused platform that reduces costly cross-country freight, increases processing capacity and boosts the overall efficiency of Worldcolor’s co-mail network.
Worldcolor has also signed a multiyear agreement to print 21 magazines, journals and newsletters for ABA Publishing, the publishing arm of the American Bar Association. The 21 titles represent new work to Worldcolor, which has printed the ABA’s flagship magazine title, ABA Journal, for several years.
Some of the new titles in the agreement are Litigation, Business Law Today, Probate and Property, Student Lawyer and Construction Lawyer.
