MONTREAL—Worldcolor is closing its Dyersburg, TN, facility by the first quarter of 2011, the Dyersburg State Gazette reported. The move will result in the loss of about 668 jobs. The facility provides web offset and rotogravure printing.
The closure will be phased in over a period of months, concluding in the first quarter of 2011. It is the fifth known Worldcolor plant to close this year and the third U.S. facility to announce closure plans, all in the wake of its pending acquisition by Quad/Graphics. That deal is expected to be completed some time this summer.
