Worzalla Publishing Names New President and CEO
STEVENS POINT, WI—Jan. 5, 2011—Book manufacturing company Worzalla Publishing announced today that it will have a new president and CEO effective Jan. 18. James H. Fetherston will take over the duties held for the past 30 years by Charles W. Nason. Nason, who will retire in June, will continue with Worzalla as chairman of its Board of Directors.
Fetherston, 56, joins Worzalla from the Walsworth Print Group of Marceline, MO, where he has been vice president of sales and marketing since 2008 and a member of that firm’s board of directors. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a concentration in business administration and marketing. Fetherston also completed the Donnelley Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.
Prior to joining Walsworth, Fetherston was vice president of sales and marketing at Hess Print Solutions in Brimfield, OH. He spent a total of 12 years with RR Donnelley in sales positions in Chicago, Atlanta and Troy, Michigan. He also served four years as president of Atlanta-based printer, Color Graphics.
The selection of Fetherston concludes a nine-month search for Nason’s successor by the Worzalla board of directors. The company is 100 percent employee-owned with sales of $52 million and 302 employees. Fetherston will become the fifth Worzalla CEO since its founding in 1892.
