Xanté Introduces Ilumina 502 Digital Press
PHILADELPHIA—March 31, 2009—Xanté today announces availability of the new Ilumina 502 Digital Production Press, a high capacity version of its best-selling digital color press. Equipped with a 530-sheet cassette, which has the ability to handle up to 12"x18" paper, the Ilumina 502 Digital Production Press supports automated production of on demand color prints including oversized, ultra thick cover jobs. The new Xanté lumina 502 Digital Production Press makes its debut here at the On Demand Expo (booth 2424).

The Ilumina 502 Digital Production Press easily handles a wide range of paper weights, from text to ultra thick cover, 75 to 502 gsm, at an affordable price. Print shops can now make money producing short run four-color jobs faster than ever on a wide range of substrates that have been previously unavailable for digital printing. The Ilumina 502 Digital Production Press is capable of printing fiber-enhanced papers such as textured canvas, sleek metallic, cast coated, and magnetic stocks.
The Ilumina 502 Digital Production Press is Adobe PostScript driven and designed to be fast and ready for volume production. It can produce full color output at up to 36 ppm and monochrome output up to 40 ppm.
